Your local golf professional should have a good range of the latest golf clothes for both men and women. There are so many things to buy, including hats, gloves, shirts, shorts, pants, jumpers and socks.

Each local golf club has their own set of rules regarding the appropriate golf attire, including what you are allowed to wear on the golf course or at your local golf club’s practice facilities. Many local golf clubs stipulate that neat and tidy golf attire must be worn at all times.

Golf attire generally includes a collared polo shirt or a golf shirt with regular or crew neck collars. Tailored golf pants, shorts or skirts are preferable. Golfers must wear socks with all golfing footwear. The types of clothing that are often unacceptable include t-shirts, swimwear, beachwear, cycling gear, tracksuits, jogging gear, football gear, denim jeans or gym gear. All golf attire must be free of offensive graphics or slogans.

Hats are optional, but they should be removed when golfers are indoors. Soft spike golf shoes are recommended for both comfort and safety.
